MEET BP JOVY

Jovy participated in 24 climbs and has conquered 22 mountains:

 Mts. Gulugod Baboy, Batulao, Manalmon, Maculot (2), Bungkol Baka, Pundaquit, Pico de Loro (2), Manabu, Balagbag, Sto Tomas, Cabuyao, Talamitam, Sembrano, Banoi, Tagapo and Humarap

Mts. Arayat Traverse, Tarak, Cristobal Traverse, Pulag, Ugu and Humalophop

Jovy has also participated in one of the great Cordillera traverses where she traversed to 23 more mountains: Mts. Komunal, Kabilisan, Indupit, Yabnong, Bundao, Samiento, Sad-ngat, Sabuyak, Bauwek, Carao, Sadel, Pagal, Bakuyan, Pigingan, Yabis, Timal, Sawmill, Bukol, Badjao, Sadjatan, Anawang, Letbek and Busdi

Along with some BACKPACKERS, she never thought that she can brave the wild world of the outdoors. But she proved to be a cowgirl and no high maintenance. As a matter of fact, the most difficult BP climb to date: Mt. Arayat Traverse, was her personal request. She is a very outspoken person who will be very quick to defend any member of her BACKPACKERS family, therefore at times being dubbed as the ‘Ate’ of the house. She can be very serious when acting as the big sister and the official treasurer of the group but she never fails to entertain us with her bloopers and memorable dance moves. 

Jovy served as The BACKPACKERS Treasurer from 2010 - 2014.

Jovy's favorite mountains are Mt. Pulag, Mt. Pico de Loro and Mt. Batulao.
